How to use Lidl charge points
Access to the Lidl network is made via the Lidl Plus app, or by scanning the QR Code on the charge point with your mobile phone to use ad hoc charging via a direct payment page. Some third-party RFID payments are also available.
Lidl Plus App:
Open Lidl Plus > Click '…'More> Select 'EV Charging' > 'Find Your Charger on the Map' > Select correct charger for your vehicle > Click 'Begin Charging' > You’re all set!
You can view the progress of the charge and stop charging via the app.
QR code scan/QR code entry:
Besides charging via the Lidl Plus app you can also scan the QR Code on the e-charging station with your mobile phone to use ad hoc charging via the Direct Payment Page.
Click on the three dots '...'More> Select 'EV Charging' > Find Your Charger on the Map > Scan the QR code on the plug using the Lidl Plus app/enter the QR code manually > Begin Charging
Where are Lidl charge points located?
All Lidl points can be found on Zapmap by using the network filter. This can be used on the desktop and mobile apps, and displays only those points operated by Lidl.
Charging types and speeds can be filtered too, showing only those points that are compatible with users’ cars.
Select 'Filters' -> 'Networks' -> 'Lidl' to view only Lidl charge points.

How does Lidl compare to other networks in terms of pricing?
Zapmap monitors the prices of charging on the public network and reports on the prices charged by the top 10* rapid charging networks. The prices are updated on a monthly basis here: Rapid Charging: Top 10 Network Pricing
The price to charge an electric vehicle (EV) on the public charging network can vary substantively, and prices are increasing due to current issues in the energy market.
Updated on a monthly basis, the Zapmap Price Index shows the difference in prices paid depending on the type of charger and will also track how this is changing over time.
