We’re fortunate to have a great team at Zapmap. And thanks to backing from clean energy company Good Energy and global fleet solutions provider Fleetcor, it’s growing all the time. Meet some of the team below.
Richard Bourne
CEOWith experience at two previous VC and PE backed start-up companies, Richard joined Zapmap in January 2021 as the business embarked on the next phase of its growth journey in the UK and internationally. Prior to Zapmap, Richard served as CEO of in-building mobile communications service provider StrattoOpencell, growing the business organically and via M&A.

Melanie Shufflebotham
COO & Co-founderMelanie is an EV market expert with deep knowledge of the charging market and EV data sets, built up over 10 years. As Co-founder she has developed the Zapmap app, products and initial revenue streams. Now as COO her focus is on building the Zapmap brand and market insights ready for the mass take-up of EVs.

Ed Walsh
Head of ProductEd joined Zapmap in late 2021 to lead product strategy and build the product management and design functions. Bringing a wealth of knowledge in digital platforms, he previously led product at the UK's largest D2C investment platform, Hargreaves Lansdown. He is passionate about user centred design, lean product discovery and organisational design, as well as all things green tech.

Joanna Edwards
Head of FinanceHaving previously led a team of accountants at Good Energy, Joanna joined Zapmap in 2022 to oversee the company's finances. Working closely with the senior team, Joanna has a wealth of experience covering financial accounts, management accounts and transactional finance.
