Richard Bourne

Since joining Zapmap in 2021, Richard has led the company through its Series A and scale up phase, delivering valuable driver and data services to support the acceleration of the EV market. With previous experience at two VC and PE backed scale-up companies, Richard is passionate about delivering sustained business growth by embracing innovation, providing a premium customer experience, building and managing successful teams, go to market strategies and operational execution capabilities.

Melanie Shufflebotham

A pioneer of EV charge point mapping, Melanie co-founded Zapmap in 2014, developing our app and initial revenue streams. Melanie has also led the company through innovation developments in the routing, payment and in-car spaces. As COO, her focus is on building the Zapmap brand and market insights in readiness for the next wave of EV adoption. With deep knowledge of the EV charging industry, Melanie is a frequent speaker and commentator in the media.

Ed Walsh

Ed joined Zapmap in 2021 to lead product strategy and build our product management, product design, and product marketing functions. Now leading our App & API business, Ed is responsible for defining our D2C app strategy, leading our B2B API product portfolio, and building strategic partner relationships and propositions. Having previously led product at the UK's largest D2C investment platform, Hargreaves Lansdown, Ed brings to his role a wealth of knowledge in user experience and digital platforms.

Jade Edwards

Jade joined Zapmap in 2022, to develop our data and insights offering. The Insights team now provides unrivalled data and insights into the shape and usage of EV charging infrastructure, as well as the attitudes and behaviours of EV drivers. Jade brings to her role more than 10 years of experience in data and insights, which she gained across a range of roles and variously led operations, product and sales teams.

Joanna Edwards

Having previously led a team of accountants at Good Energy, Joanna joined Zapmap in 2022 to oversee the company's finances. Working closely with the senior team, Joanna has a wealth of experience covering financial accounts, management accounts and transactional finance.
