Cenex has worked over many years with Local Authorities to deliver evidence-based advice, guidance and support. The NEVIS service grew out of a desire to see them supported with reliable, independent, up-to-date information on EVs and EVI. Today, NEVIS supplies LAs with easily accessible data, modelling, guidance and advice.
Since Cenex’s National EV Insight and Support (NEVIS) service was launched over 300 organisations have registered to access reliable, independent, up-to-date information about EVs and EV Infrastructure (EVI).
Any Local Authorities registered for NEVIS can request the Zapmap data from Cenex at discounted rates directly from within the service to supplement the existing free information with greater detail and accuracy.
Benefits
- 95% of UK charge points mapped with detailed information including CPO, power rating of connectors, location type of devices, and date added to Zapmap for each location
- Reliable and credible information to help drive CPO selection and installation strategies
- Understand when, where, who installed and what types of charge points are in place across each Local Authority
- Can be downloaded from NEVIS to supplement your existing data sets with the exact location and descriptive data of charge points (for use in GIS or internal databases and analyses).
NEVIS packages
Two different packages are available: a basic package and an advanced package. As with everything on NEVIS, both include downloadable data which allows you to access information on the go. The advanced package includes more detail on the location type, number of connected devices by power, and charge point operator details.
These packages further allow you to widen the knowledge of electric vehicle infrastructure within your region, ensuring your planning and delivery work is informed by the best information on what EVI is already installed and where. The data can be downloaded from NEVIS to supplement your existing data sets with the exact location and descriptive data of charge points (for use in GIS or internal databases and analyses).
