Pod Point has confirmed that it is now the official recommended charge point supplier for both Volkswagen and Volvo. Customers of plug-in cars from both companies will have charging information available from Pod Point, with the option of support and installation of home charge points from the firm.
The likes of Volkswagen’s e-up!, e-Golf, Golf GTE and forthcoming Passat GTE, along with the Volvo V60 and XC90, provide a large range of options for customers, with home charging the most usual way of topping up the car’s batteries. There is set to be a number of new plug-in models on their way from both companies too.
Demonstrations can be given at the dealership, and Pod Point will work with Volkswagen and Volvo for both private and business customers.
Both Volvo and Volkswagen will recommend Pod Point to customers, with the company listed by on the UK Government’s list of approve charge point providers, making the units eligible for the home charge point grant. Prices start at around £400 with the government grant.
