Nissan has launched a new version of its pure-electric e-NV200 van – the larger e-NV200 XL Voltia.
Featuring a 90% larger load area, the e-NV200 XL Voltia features a raised roof and extended load bay after the rear axle to stretch the capacity to 8 m³.
Powered by the standard e-NV200 powertrain, the larger model uses a 40 kWh battery and 80 kW electric motor. Range is quoted at similar to the standard e-NV200’s (up to) 124 miles on a single charge, though this will obviously vary more with the potential for larger loads.
Also carried over in terms of powertrain are the CHAdeMO rapid DC charging inlet, B-mode regenerative charging, and Eco mode.
Initially converted by Slovakian firm Voltia, Nissan has now incorporated the larger version of its e-NV200 into its fleet.
Prices are yet to be confirmed, and will be revealed at the model’s launch. Conversions for UK models will be carried out by the Bevan Group, based in the West Midlands.
