The festive period often means lots more travelling for many drivers – including EV owners. As such, Zap-Map has gathered together customer support opening hours for many of the key charge point operators across the UK.
Those listed below tend to have a large number of rapid charge points on their respective networks, and therefore likely to be required by EV drivers covering long distances. It’s highly unlikely that any lengthy trip in the UK won’t be covered by at least one of the networks below.
Of course, there are other networks available. Should you anticipate charging from a network not included below, it’s advised to get in contact with customer services before the Christmas break to check when support is available.
Opening hours listed include normal office hours, or support from the out-of-hours service. Levels of service may vary, but if contacting the network within the time frames below, they should be able to assist drivers that have an issue with a point.
Networks are listed alphabetically, and remember to update usage on Zap-Chat while on the go, to keep charge point statuses as up-to-date as possible for other drivers. If you’re heading off on a long trip in the next week or so, make sure you use Zap-Map’s Route Planner to get you set-up, and the newly-launched Google Assistant when you’re on your way.
